The da Vinci Epicenter Program is designed to provide new da Vinci surgeons with opportunities to observe cases at distinguished training centers.
Over 25 U.S. Training Epicenters with combined experience exceeding 5,000 cases have been chosen for their excellence in patient outcomes and dedication to assisting new da Vinci surgeons through their initial case series.
New da Vinci surgeons and their teams visit Epicenter sites to observe cases and learn da Vinci surgical techniques. Epicenter surgeons then become mentors and/or proctors for these new surgeons in their learning journey. Even after new da Vinci surgeons have successfully completed their initial case series, these mentor-trainee relationships endure through discussions at scientific conferences, the da Vinci Surgery Online Community and through advanced training.
